Our MES batch traceability system links incoming-material, production and shipment information so a batch can be located, reviewed and followed through the manufacturing route. It improves response speed and quality transparency, but it does not replace drawings, physical inspection, functional testing or the agreed release criteria for the order.
What information does our MES traceability route connect?
The system connects relevant incoming-material, production and shipment information by batch. The exact fields depend on the product and operation, but the purpose is to preserve the relationship between what entered production, what route the order followed and what was released for shipment.
How does incoming-material traceability help a glass packaging order?
It helps our team identify which recorded material batch was associated with a production order and review the corresponding receiving or supplier information available for that material. The useful record depends on the material type, so buyers should state in advance whether they require a particular supplier document, declaration or lot reference.
How does MES support production review?
MES helps connect the order to recorded production stages and batch information. When a dimensional, decoration, assembly or inspection concern is reported, the batch link provides a starting point for reviewing the relevant process history. It does not by itself prove the cause; physical evidence and production analysis are still required.

Can MES traceability prevent every quality problem?

Does MES replace a buyer-approved sample or drawing?

MES helps connect those requirements and production records to the correct batch, but it cannot define an acceptance limit that the buyer and factory never agreed.
What should a buyer request when batch-level verification is important?
State the required batch identifier, product and component codes, document type, retention expectation, shipment reference and any destination-market traceability requirement in the RFQ. Also specify whether the request concerns routine shipment records, supplier declarations, inspection results, test reports or investigation support.
What information should be supplied when reporting a quality concern?
Provide the order number, carton and pallet identifiers where available, affected quantity, photographs, defect description, bottle or component code, filling and handling conditions, discovery date and retained samples.
