James Chen

James Chen is a Senior Printing Process Engineer at UGI Printing & Packaging with over 14 years of hands-on experience in offset, gravure, flexographic, digital and hybrid printing for commercial packaging and label applications. He specialises in press parameter optimisation, ink system management and multi-process combination printing for premium OEM packaging production. James has led process improvement projects across sheet-fed and web offset, gravure flexible packaging and narrow-web flexo label lines, and has deep expertise in halftone screening, colour management workflow and defect root cause analysis. He holds a degree in Printing Engineering from Wuhan University and is a certified G7 Expert.
