UGI Packaging manufactures custom wine packaging in our factory, including wrapped rigid boxes, folding cartons, tubes, wooden crates, leather carriers and fitted gift-set packaging. Our board conversion, woodworking, leather processing, printing, coating, metalworking, assembly and QC equipment lets us engineer the package around bottle dimensions, filled weight, fragility, presentation and distribution route.
Choose a structure for bottle count and handling
Single-bottle and multi-bottle rigid boxes emphasize presentation, while tubes, wooden crates and leather carriers use different load paths and closures. Define bottle diameter, shoulder and neck profile, filled weight, accessories, carrying method and whether a separate shipping carton is required.
Engineer wood, board, leather and inserts
Wrapped board requires controlled greyboard, paper grain and corner wrapping. Wooden cases require species, thickness, joinery, sanding and coating approval. Leather carriers need handle reinforcement, stitching and edge treatment. Inserts must restrain bottles without concentrating pressure on glass.
Our custom insert process covers cavities and accessory separation, and our rigid box guide explains wrapped-board construction.
Printing and surface finishing
Our printing, foil, embossing, coating, laser and transfer equipment decorates paper, wood, leather and approved hardware. Textured paper, dark coatings and large foil areas require an actual material proof because color, edge quality and abrasion differ by substrate.
Sampling, distribution and QC
Send the bottle and accessories or controlled drawings, filled weight, structure, materials, insert, closure, artwork, finishes, quantity, destination and packing route. Distribution validation should use the complete packed system; ISTA publishes packaged-product test procedures, while the buyer defines the applicable procedure and acceptance criteria.
Our QC checks dimensions, bottle fit, insert restraint, lid or drawer action, wood joints, handle strength, wrapping, print, finishes, hardware, cleanliness and master-carton packing.
Frequently asked questions
Which wine-package structure is best?
Choose from bottle count and weight, presentation, carrying method, accessory set, packing labor and distribution route. Approve the complete packed sample.
Can UGI Packaging manufacture wooden and leather wine packaging?
Yes. Our factory operates woodworking, leather processing, printing, coating, assembly and QC equipment for relevant structures.
Does a gift box replace the shipping carton?
Not automatically. Distribution conditions may require a separate corrugated carton and restraint system around the presentation box.
What does wine-packaging QC inspect?
QC checks dimensions, bottle and insert fit, closures, joints, handles, wrapping, print, finishes, hardware and packing.
