BOX DESIGN
How to create an eye-catching packaging box or gift box?
The Check List:
- Decide on the exact dimensions - the length, width and depth.
- Consider whether or not the box should be flat-packed. Note that flat packed boxes are cheaper to import as they take up less space during shipping.
- Does your box need to have a separate lid? Should it flip open? Or slide out?
- Draw your box from the side, above and with 3D perspective.
- What colours should the box be? And matt or shiny finish?
- Does your box require padding inlay? If so decide what colour. Do you need cardboard inserts/holders?
- Does your box require a logo? The logo with silver/gold foil? You will need a digital copy of this (ideally a JPEG, CDR, AI, PDF or BMP file).
- With info of requirements regarding the printing, color, size, paper gsm, surface finish, we would send you our quotation for review. Once you are satisfied with our competitive quote, we suggest you could send us the sample to help us understand exactly what you require.
- For more accurate costs estimation, your art design or technical sketch would be great helpful. Without it also no problem, our designer will create a drawing for your approval in advance.

RECYCLED PACKAGING AND ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING

There are so many myths about the benefits of recycling and whether we should be living a "greener" existence, especially when it comes to paper. So here are some facts:
For every tonne of paper used for recycling the savings are estimated as -

95% of air pollution
The recycling process uses considerably less energy because the main energy consumption involves turning the wood into pulp. By recycling, the paper is much more easily turned into pulp. Some estimates are up to 70% less energy consumed by the paper mills.
WORKING PROCESS
In order to get a smooth process to fulfill your order we suggest you follow below working process with UGI:
- Request a quote based on the specifications you require (see "Box design" section) via email. Include any photos, images, art design, or technical sketch that could be helpful.
- If you have a similar or identical box to that which you require, send it (via UPS, TNT, DHL, or FEDEX) only after you are satisfied with our quote has been received.
- UGI will then provide you with a sample and a final quote with our technical sketch in PDF, AI, or CDR format. We will charge you for the sample or prototype development, but it should only be a nominal amount. After receive your formal order, we will refund the sample charge as our negotiation.
- If you approve the sample then place your order and sign the contract, with 40% advance payment from you, we will start production.
- If any significant changes need to be made to the sample we strongly recommend checking 2nd samples from us before you confirm the final version.
