What is the basic difference between water-based and hot-melt adhesive?

Which works better on coated paperboard?

How do heat and cold affect the bond?

Service temperature can soften, embrittle or creep an adhesive depending on chemistry. Define hot filling, refrigeration, freezing, reheating and transport extremes before qualification.

What happens with grease or moisture exposure?
