Wedding Dress Packaging Boxes: Fit, Protection and Foldable Structure
A wedding dress box must protect volume, delicate surfaces and decorative details without forcing the garment into an unrealistic fold. Buyers should define the folded dress dimensions, weight, train, beading, accessories, tissue, storage time, carrying method and outer shipping protection before selecting a box.

Measure the packed garment, not the hanger
Prepare the dress using the intended tissue and folding method, then measure the resulting length, width and height. Identify rigid bodices, hoops, trains, beadwork, sequins and snag-sensitive areas. A shallow box can compress decoration; an oversized box can allow movement and crushing at corners.
Decide whether the box is for boutique presentation, customer carrying, long-term storage or parcel shipment. A presentation box is not automatically a shipping carton, and a handle should not be assumed to carry the full loaded weight without testing.

Approve fit and handling physically
A white sample should be loaded with the real dress or a representative garment to check compression, snagging, closure, lifting and refolding. A printed sample is then used for wrap paper, color, foil, ribbon and surface-transfer approval.
If the packed box enters parcel distribution, choose a test that represents the complete packed system. ISTA publishes transport test procedures; the selected procedure and acceptance limits must match the actual route and do not guarantee every shipment outcome.
Factory production and QC
Our factory prints and finishes the wrap, cuts board, wraps panels, builds the foldable joints, installs magnets, ribbons or handles and completes assembly. Production starts after the dress fit, structure, material, artwork, components, sample and outer packing are approved.
Our QC team checks internal dimensions, fold and corner formation, magnet alignment, ribbon or handle attachment, surface condition, loaded closure and packing. Common failures include garment compression, exposed fasteners, finish transfer, weak handle reinforcement and shipping the presentation box without adequate outer protection.
