Robert Zhang

Robert Zhang is the Surface Finishing Technology Lead at UGI Printing & Packaging with 13 years of specialist experience in lamination, UV coating, hot and cold foil stamping, embossing, debossing, die cutting and anti-counterfeiting finishing for premium packaging. He leads the technical development of complex multi-process finishing combinations for luxury brand packaging clients across rigid boxes, folding cartons and labels, and has extensive hands-on knowledge of both flatbed and rotary finishing equipment. Robert has developed finishing combination strategies for over 500 premium packaging projects covering beauty, spirits, jewellery and electronics, and his technical guides on foil stamping and embossing are drawn directly from production data accumulated across thousands of OEM finishing jobs.
