Michael Wong

Michael Wong is a Printing Materials and Ink Specialist at UGI Printing & Packaging with 11 years of expertise in ink formulation, coating chemistry, substrate evaluation and functional coating technology for OEM packaging production. He is responsible for raw material qualification, supplier auditing and technical performance testing of all printing inks, coatings and substrates used across offset, gravure, flexo and digital printing processes. Michael has led the development of food-contact compliant ink systems and barrier coating solutions that meet FDA, EU 10/2011 and GB standards, and has extensive knowledge of specialty inks including thermochromic, UV-curable and anti-counterfeiting security inks for premium packaging applications.
