Choose structure around the filled bottle
Tall bottles need base support and controlled top clearance. Heavy glass can pull against weak platforms or thin carton walls. Gift sets require separate cavities for bottles, travel sizes and accessories so components do not strike each other.
Provide the actual filled bottle or controlled dimensions including cap, pump or decorative overcap. Pumps and atomizers are not automatically within UGI Packaging’s confirmed manufacturing scope; list supplied components and responsibilities in the approved bill of materials.

Separate formula and primary-pack responsibilities
The perfume formula and its primary-contact bottle, closure and dispensing compatibility require project-specific ownership and testing. The EU Cosmetics Regulation is a primary reference for products in its scope; it does not certify a secondary gift box or any supplied component.
UGI Packaging controls the approved secondary box, insert, printed materials and assembly within our manufacturing scope. Regulatory text and claims must be supplied and approved for the destination market.
Sample the complete retail set
Use filled or representative bottles to check insert retention, cap clearance, removal, loaded closure, leakage containment, rub and decoration. A white sample confirms geometry; a printed sample confirms color, foil, embossing, coating and version control.
Production and QC
Production starts after component responsibilities, drawings, materials, artwork, labels, loaded sample and packing are approved. Our QC team checks dimensions, insert fit, bottle retention, closure, printing, finish, assembly, SKU separation and packing.
Common failures include bottle movement, cap contact with the lid, insert collapse, leakage damage, finish rub and mixing artwork versions between fragrances.
