Define the printed product before choosing a press

Finished size, page count, substrate, quantity, color requirement, folding, binding and use environment determine the production route. Brochures and catalogues need pagination and binding control; cards and tags need cut, hole and corner specifications; labels need face stock, adhesive, liner and application details.

Prepare artwork, color and variable information

Supply editable artwork or a controlled print-ready PDF with fonts, images, bleed, trim, overprint and spot colors defined. Brand colors should be approved on the actual material because coated paper, kraft, film and corrugated surfaces reproduce differently.

Select finishes from the substrate and handling risk

Lamination, varnish, foil, embossing, spot effects and specialty transfers require minimum detail, registration and adhesion checks. Large solid areas can reveal scuffing and density variation, while folds and wrapped edges can crack an unsuitable finish. We approve a production-material proof rather than treating a digital image as the final color standard.

Quotation, proofing and QC

Send finished size, substrate, page or component count, artwork, colors, print process, finishes, quantity, packing and destination. Fixed costs may include plates, cutting dies, foil or embossing tools and binding setup. Production begins after the required proof, material, artwork, quantity and packing specification are approved.

Our QC checks material identity, dimensions, pagination, color reference, registration, text and barcode legibility, die cutting, folds, binding, finishes and pack count. GS1 publishes barcode standards, but the final printed code must be verified at its actual size and scanning conditions.
